Searching for words I couldn’t find …
When I was young enough
To have the courage to say them …
So … maybe …

If you just tell me what you’re looking for
I’ll tell you what I can be.
Oh, and I won’t say no lies to you
If you don’t ask too much.
I’ll try to be strong when you need me to;
I’ll return the gentle touch.

Oh, and I’m not sure I remember
What the word love used to mean,
But it was safe and warm
And free from harm …
It was hope when times were lean.

Would you like to try and teach me love again?
