During my years in music I've had the opportunity to have written in a number of genres. Because record companies look for artists who fit a single style, these genres were never meant to be grouped together in a single work.
Soooo ... this is the album no record company would let me make. In this single work I offer old country, new country, country-pop, folk, and a few pieces of unidentifiable genre.
The stories in this album are aimed at mature listeners. That is to say that if you've lived life, you may recognize some of the themes from a personal point of view, or perhaps you'll recognize some circumstances that have been experienced by close friends.
I hope you enjoy the stories as much as I've enjoyed living them, and I hope you enjoy the album half as much as we did making it.
